Glendale Adult Center reopens after COVID closure

The Glendale Adult Center is open again.

The facility, at 5970 W. Brown St., Glendale, closed early last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The city used some of that time to thoroughly clean and refresh the center to enhance the visitor experience.

The Center offers a variety of activities including aerobics classes, sewing and knitting groups, Wii Bowling, a Coloring Club, bridge/pinochle/hand and foot/cribbage groups, open computer lab, Friday Bingo, holiday themed special events and health and wellness support programs. Day passes and quarterly and annual memberships are available for Glendale residents and non-residents.

There is no fee to join and no contracts required.

The Adult Center is an approved Silver Sneakers and Renew Active facility, and is open from 8 a.m to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
