A Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (GAIN) event goes 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Sahuaro Ranch, 9802 N. 59th Ave.
GAIN is a way to meet neighbors, city leaders, local businesses and police officers while bringing the community together for a free block party event. The afternoon will be filled with celebration of crime prevention through community involvement, and promoting neighborhood and crime safety information.
The day will include music, a pie eating contest, hay rides, bounce houses, raffles, Dunk-A-Cop tank (featuring command staff), a rock climbing wall, police K9s, and Touch-A-Truck (emergency vehicles).
