Drive-thru food distribution coming to Glendale

GCC, St. Mary’s Food Bank team up

Posted

Glendale Community College, 6000 W. Olive Ave., will again support St. Mary’s Food Bank as a distribution site for free food boxes.

The event takes place 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., or while supplies last, Thursday, Jan. 28.

St. Mary’s Food Bank will use a no-contact drive-thru method of distribution.

Drivers should enter the north parking lot from 63rd Avenue and follow the signs through campus. For safety, drivers will be required to stay in their vehicle at all times.

A member of each household requesting food must be in the vehicle and present a government issued ID to receive a food box.
