Credit union helps first time home buyers in Glendale

Credit Union West will lead a seminar for first time home buyers from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, in the Glendale Main Library, 5970 W. Brown St.

The discussion will also provide down payment assistance and a real estate market update.
 
This seminar is available to ages 18 and up and will be in the library's large meeting room

This course will give participants basic information on:

  • Steps to purchase a home.
  • Getting help with a Down Payment Assistance program.
  • A look at the current housing market in Arizona

 Sean Harper and Mimi Brown will present along with Brunner.

The main library also plays host to The Sahuaro Ranch Acoustic Jam on the second and fourth Sunday afternoons of each month from 2 to 4 p.m.

Bring an acoustic instrument and play round-robin style in this self-led program. An audience is welcome. Registration is not required.
