An evening recognizing the impact of the creative economy in Arizona is coming to Phoenix.

The Arizona Creative Excellence Awards, Arizona Citizens for the Arts’ largest event of the year, will celebrate arts and culture leaders, organizations, and elected officials whose work has contributed to a thriving Arizona.

This arts-infused event takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at Madison Center for the Arts, 5601 N. 16th St., Phoenix. A cocktail party opens the festivities before the awards ceremony starts at 7:30 p.m., including presentations for the Shelley Award, Oonagh Award, and the Arts Champion Award.

For more than 30 years Arizona Citizens for the Arts has supported the nonprofit arts and culture sector across the state. Arizona Citizens for the Arts is comprised of 100 statewide member arts organizations and more than 5,000 individual citizen arts supporters.

Purchase tickets in advance for a $25 discount on general seating through Friday, Sept. 1, with code AZCE23. Standard general seating ticket prices are $200. Premium seating is available for $400.
