Chandler Jones was honored with a selection to the Associated Press' All-Pro team, the second All-Pro selection in the edge rusher's career.
Jones was also named first-team All-Pro in 2017 with the Cardinals as well. With this season's selection he becomes the 14th Cardinal with multiple first-team All-Pro selections and the first Cardinal edge rusher to earn the honor multiple times.
The 29-year-old out of Syracuse plays a hybrid between a defensive end and outside linebacker in the Cardinals' 3-4 defense. Jones was the landslide leader among edge rusher All-Pro votes, receiving 32. The next most, Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt, was 22. Jones also received two votes in the linebacker category.
Jones' 19 sacks trailed only Tampa Bay's Shaq Barrett (19.5) for the league lead. He led the league with eight forced fumbles, was tied for fourth with 20 tackles for loss and tied for eighth with three fumble recoveries.
Safety Budda Baker was the only other Cardinal to receive All-Pro votes, but his four votes put him tied for seventh among NFL safeties. The top two vote-getters at the position make the first team and the next two make the second-team.
