Carvin Jones is bringing the blues back to Glendale.
The Phoenix-based blues guitar virtuoso, a regular on West Valley stages, will perform 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Tributes Live, 18561 N. 59th Ave.
The legend was voted one of the 50 greatest blues guitarists of all-time by Guitarist Magazine.
Mr. Jones plays in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King, and famously had Eric Clapton utter, “Carvin Jones is a young cat out of Phoenix who I think is the next up-and-coming blues player.”
