Legendary Valley blues man Carvin Jones has a gig in Glendale Tuesday evening.

See the “King of Strings” at 5 p.m. 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Heroes Pub & Grub, 5940 W. Union Hills Drive, Suite E100.

Jones was voted one of the 50 greatest blues guitarists of all-time by Guitarist Magazine. He plays in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King, and famously had Eric Clapton utter, “Carvin Jones is a young cat out of Phoenix who I think is the next up-and-coming blues player.”
