Simone Biles, who dominated the competition this past weekend in the U.S. Gymnastics Championships, will be among those appearing in Glendale later this summer.

Biles coasted to her record seventh U.S. title Sunday night in Fort Worth, Texas -- the most in history -- by winning three of four events. She has won every all-around competition she has entered since 2013.

The Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour is coming to Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., on Wednesday, Sept. 22, and will feature athletes that participated in this weekend’s U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com.

The USA Gymnastics National Championships is the annual artistic gymnastics national event for elite-level competition. The U.S. Championships determines the men’s and women’s U.S. champions and U.S. National Teams for the junior and senior elite levels.

Biles (119.650) ran away from the competition on Day 2 this past weekend, stretching a 2.2-point lead to nearly five full points. She also claimed the top spot on vault (31.025), balance beam (29.250) and floor exercise (29.600).

Biles was also named Athlete of the Year at the event.

The Glendale tour stop will feature a high-energy, gymnastics-meets-pop-concert with a soundtrack that includes today’s biggest hits. The event’s goal is to spread a message of empowerment, togetherness and “letting the gold inside each of us shine.”

Biles will be joined by 2016 Gold and Silver medalist in Rio and Dancing With The Stars champion Laurie Hernandez; All-American, NCAA National Champion and viral video sensation Katelyn Ohashi; winner of three gold medals in 2019 and 2020 at the Tokyo World Cup Morgan Hurd; 2018 NCAA National Champion from UCLA where she achieved 10 perfect 10’s Peng-Peng Lee; Jamaican qualifier for the 2021 Tokyo games Danusia Francis; and eight-time U.S. National team member Jordan Chiles.

More gymnasts will be announced in the coming months.
