Glendale will be where Arizona’s best breweries earn top honors for one big night.

The Arizona Craft Beer Awards & Festival goes from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at Heritage at Sportsman’s Park, 9600 W. Sportsmans Park South, located on the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium.

PHOENIX magazine in partnership with the Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guild presents a night to recognize the best in Arizona brewing with a celebration of awards.

General admission is $50, and includes 15 drink tickets and a commemorative sample cup. Designated driver admission is $20, and excludes drink tickets and the commemorative cup.

VIP admission is $80, and includes early entry at noon plus access to the shaded VIP patio on the building’s second floor. VIP admission also means 20 drink tickets, and designated driver VIP entry is $30.

A portion of the event’s proceeds goes to The Joy Bus. Founded in 2011 by award-winning chef Jennifer Caraway, The Joy Bus is a nonprofit whose sole purpose is to relieve the daily struggles of people with cancer by delivering a fresh and healthy meal with a friendly face.

Event parking is available in the W4 and W2 lots. The entrance into the event will be on the east side of the lawn, across the street from Gate 1 of the stadium.
