The Glendale Library will present two Artist Talks this month as a part of “Vision & Sound: An African American Experience,” a series of art exhibits, artist presentations, and events.

  • 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4: Stephen Marc. This documentary/street photographer and digital montage artist will examine how his work collectively addresses who we are as Americans during a time that has proved to be pivotal and polarized.
  • 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6: Aaron Allen Marner. This mixed-media artist, painter and muralist will share creative, vibrant portraits, figurative subjects, graffiti-based work and collage.

Both presentations will take place in the Main Library Auditorium, 5959 W. Brown St., and are funded by the City of Glendale Public Art Program.
