Anasazi Chapter DAR in Glendale honors high school senior

Diana Espinosa, a Greenway High School senior, was recognized for her commanding essay that won her the award for the Anasazi Chapter DAR Good Citizen Essay for 2022.

Her work was titled “Our American Heritage and our Responsibility for Preserving it: How do the combined actions of so many good citizens keep our Nation moving forward?”.

Espinosa is president of the Speech and Debate Club and the National Honors Society. She is a member of the orchestra and composes music for guitar, cello and piano. She ranks first in her class at Greenway High.

The next Anasazi Chapter meeting takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16. The program and service project will be a “Vets & Babies Shower.”

The Anasazi Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is based in Glendale and meets on the third Saturday of every month from September through May.
