2 Glendale shops to participate in Free Comic Book Day

There’s a comic for every genre on the walls inside Drawn to Comics in Glendale.
As the name implies, Free Comic Book Day is a single day when participating comic book specialty shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their shops, and that includes Glendale.
Drawn to Comics, at 5801 W. Glendale Ave., and Samurai Comics, 6808 N. Dysart Road, Suite 148, will be the West Valley hubs in Glendale when Free Comic Book Day falls this year on Saturday, May 4. The event, which started in 2002, annually takes place the first Saturday in May each year.
Different shops have policies on how many free comics guests can receive, but visitors will receive at least one free comic.
Drawn To Comics ranks No. 17 on the Top 50 Comic Shops in America 2018 list, compiled at Hoodline.com . The shop this year will celebrate its 15th Annual Drawn To Comics Free Comic Book Day Event, at which they team up again with the Velma Teague Library.
