The Gilbert Symphony Orchestra will perform from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts, 4132 E. Pecos Road, Gilbert.
The event has free general admission. VIP seating is available for a charge.
The orchestra will perform four pieces:
Mozart - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525;
Dvorák - Serenade for Wind Instruments, Op. 44;
Mendelssohn - Overture in C Major for Winds, Op. 24;
Haydn - Symphony No. 87.
The Gilbert Symphony Orchestra relies on generous donations from patrons and sponsors to provide the opportunity for our musicians to learn, rehearse, and perform orchestral music for the community.
Musicians volunteer their time and talents. Costs of operating the Gilbert Symphony Orchestra, include rehearsal venue rental, concert venue rental, director stipend, music licensing, insurance, website, and other business expenses.
