Gilbert residents' input sought on county's fair-housing survey

Posted

The Maricopa HOME Consortium is inviting Gilbert residents to complete a seven-to-10-minute survey to help assess community needs and address fair housing issues in the county.

The information gathered from this survey will be utilized in the development of county and town 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.

Feedback received from the Community Needs Assessment Survey will:

  • Help prioritize decisions for federally funded programs;

  • Share the development needs in your community;

  • Make a difference for affordable housing.

The goal of this survey is to help prioritize decisions for federally funded programs and grants to build and update public facilities, infrastructure, affordable housing preservation, housing development, public services, homelessness initiatives, and more.

The survey is open until Sept. 30.

Those interested in more information about the survey and ways to submit feedback can visit Maricopa.gov/HCD
