Gilbert event focuses on child safety

Gilbert Fire & Rescue will host an event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 11, to hear from leading child safety experts on various ways to keep children safe.

  • Water safety tips from Swimhaus Swim School (free water watcher tags for the first 200 people);
  • Free car seat checks by Safe Kids Worldwide and AZ Childproofers;
  • Helpful safety tips from Drowning Prevention Coalition of Arizona;
  • In-home safety resources from AZ Childproofers (think childproofing products, pool fences, etc);
  • Special appearance by Gilbert Fire Department (fire truck will be onsite along with fun giveaways).

The event will be held at the Swimhaus Swim School, 868 N. Gilbert Road, Ste. 100, Gilbert.

Attendees can learn the latest child safety information, play in the bounce house, and hang with our Gilbert Fire & Rescue firefighters (truck will be on-site).
