US60 pavement preservation work northeast of Globe scheduled June 7-9

Motorists on U.S. Highway 60 about 10 miles northeast of Globe — between mileposts 261 and 264 — should expect short delays and alternating lane restrictions Monday, June 7, through Wednesday, June 9, for pavement preservation work.
Crews will install a chip seal each day between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect delays of about 10 minutes, according to a release.
Flaggers and pilot cars will direct traffic within the work zone. In addition, the speed limit will be reduced.
Vehicles should proceed with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment, the release states.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
