The Florence Farmers Market adds a second Saturday per month

Posted

If you missed today’s Farmers Market in Florence, you’ll get another chance to buy goodies on the fourth Saturday of the month.

The Florence Farmers Market, presented by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, has been enjoying so much success that a second Saturday has been added to the monthly event.

From now until December, the market will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. This summer, the market ran once a month throughout the hot season for the first time.

After lying dormant for a few years, Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce Special Events Director Sherri Crosslin helped bring back the market.

Since that first April event, the market has moved to outside of the McFarland State Historic Park on Main Street. The park features a wraparound porch perfect for Arizona’s extra sunny days.

The second Saturday market will take place at the same location and also runs from 8 a.m. to noon.

The second Florence Farmers Market of this month takes place Saturday Sept. 25.
