Pinal County supervisors to discuss paying $299K for AV equipment

Approving a purchasing division report including paying nearly $300,000 for audio/visual equipment for the new county attorney building is the only agenda item for a Dec. 29 special session of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors.
The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room at the Pinal County Administrative Complex, 135 N. Pinal St. in Florence.
A state of Arizona cooperative contract is being used to pay $299,050.73 to ExhibitOne Corp. for audio/visual equipment including:
$91,519.65 in labor;
$27,598.74 for a wide-throw No. 3 zoom lens;
$16,072.38 in taxes;
$10,080 for miscellaneous hardware and shop supplies;
$6,234.80 for a four-in-one media processor; and
$3,596.32 for a ceiling array microphone.
The construction of the Pinal County Attorney building west and adjacent to the courthouse at State Route 79 and Jason Lopez Circle is to cost $20 million, according to pinalcountyaz.gov/Facilities/Pages/OnGoingCapitalProjects.aspx.
