The town of Florence, in partnership with Holbrook Asphalt, will be conducting a one-week street sealant project from March 24-31.
“This protective sealant helps extend the life of our roads by shielding them from moisture and UV damage, reducing future repair costs,” a post on the town’s Facebook page stated.
Affected streets will be completely closed for 24 hours after sealant application. Residents must park on adjacent streets the night before or leave before 7 a.m. on the scheduled day of application.
If trash pickup day falls on an application day, residents are asked to set their bins out the night before and the town will arrange an early-morning collection.
Door hangers with additional details will be distributed 48 hours in advance.
