Margie Zimmerman

Posted

Margie passed away peacefully at her home in Sun City, AZ, with her daughter and husband at her side.
Margie was born September 29, 1933, in Edmunds County, South Dakota to John & Ella Stern. She spent a large part of her youth in Malin, Oregon and later moved to Yuma, AZ in 1948.
Margie was a doer. She loved the holidays and decorated her home for each and every one. Her favorite was Halloween, and she did it right! She loved to entertain and made all feel welcome, loved, and special. If Margie was your friend, you were lucky! There were none better.
A loving mother and super home maker were her obvious gifts. Margie has a fitting for angel wings in a few days, she will look wonderful.
Thank you to the Lach family as well as the Prathers, the Condrays, Fritzsimmons and the Dybvigs for being a wonderful support group at a very difficult time in our lives.
Margie is survived by her daughters, Jocelyn Wisner and Deborah Zimmerman; son-in-law, Bryon Wisner and her husband, Bernard Zimmerman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Ella, along with her two sisters Ruby and Pearl.
No services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date in the fall. The Zimmerman family thanks you all! In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice of the Valley or a charity of your choice will be wonderful.
