Kenneth William Isaak 87 years old of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023 in Gilbert, Az surrounded by his family. Ken was born on April 19, 1935 to Leo and Margaret Isaak. Ken was raised in rural South Dakota, graduated from Holy Cross High School and then entered the US Marine Corps, afterwards he attended University, ultimately earning a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota . While in Mitchell, South Dakota, after his service in the marine corps, he met Jeanne Isaak, and later married her at Holy Family Church in South Dakota on February 17, 1962. After serving his internships, he went to work for the US Government, running the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska; during his tenure there, Ken was highly recognized for all his work and efforts in supporting the public health for all Alaskans. In retirement Ken was an avid reader of history and fiction and traveled when able. Ken was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeanne Anne Isaak and his son Christopher. He is survived by his Children Steven, Beth, Scott, Thomas , and his grandchildren Sarah and Yusef. Ken’s remains will be interred, with his beloved wife, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Maricopa County Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Hospice of the Valley.
