Juvenile struck in San Tan Valley hit-and-run

Posted

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is  searching for a vehicle in a hit-and-run involving a juvenile pedestrian  on Thursday in San Tan Valley.

The juvenile was struck at around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of East Johnson Ranch Boulevard and West Saddle Way.

PCSO did not provide any information on whether the juvenile was injured. However, there are reports on social media that a boy was airlifted from the scene with multiple broken bones and required surgery on a leg.

The suspect vehicle is described as a four-door, 2016-2024 Kia Sedan that is white, black or gray.

It is missing a passenger-side mirror and may possibly have damage to the front bumper and passenger side.

Anyone who sees a vehicle matching the description is asked to call 911 or PCSO at 520-866-5111.
