Road improvements are coming to Hunt Highway, including chip sealing and a new right-turn lane at the State Route 79 intersection.
"These upgrades will improve traffic flow and extend the life of this critical roadway< according to a post on the town's Facebook page.
The work will require both partial lane closures and two full-road closures between SR 79 and Felix Road.
Prep work will cause single-lane closures with flaggers from June 30 to July 3, and July 7-10.
Expect minor daytime delays during this time.
Full-road closures will take place in both directions from 9 p.m., July 11 through 5 a.m., July 14; and from 9 p.m. July 18 to 5 a.m., July 21.
Drivers should use State Route 287 and Attaway Road or SR 79 and Arizona Farms Road to navigate around the closure area.
