The town of Florence Public Works Streets Department will be re-striping Adamsville Road at the intersection of Central Avenue to improve safety and traffic flow.
The restriping will take place on the evening of Tuesday, June 25.
The eastbound left turn lane will be removed to eliminate a collision hazard caused by its alignment with westbound traffic.
This change will restore the straight path for westbound travelers and remove the unnecessary turn lane.
Work will take place overnight with a one-lane closure and flaggers directing traffic.
