Florence launches program for tweens, teens

Florence teens and tweens are invited to take part in the town's new program, Future Forward.

The town of Florence is introducing a new, free program for tweens and teens.
Future Forward is designed to empower kids ages 10-17 by offering an opportunity for participants to develop life skills, explore careers, engage in community service and enhance creativity.
This program will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. every Wednesday from Aug. 7 to Dec. 18 at the Viney Jones Library & Community Center, 778 N. Main St.
Kids intersted in takiing part in Future Forward are invited to an informational kickoff meeting at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the community center.
To participate, parents must register their tweens and teens at bit.ly/3ykPbTr.
