Florence Junior Parada Parade winners announced

As Florence gets ready for its Hometown Holiday Parade on Historic Main Street on Friday, kudos are going out to participants of the 91st Annual Florence Junior Parada Parade.

The Junior Parada Parade took place Nov. 25. The parade precedes the annual Florence Junior Parada Rodeo.

Floats and participants of the Parada Parade were up for awards in several categories. Here are the winners, according to a Facebook post from the town of Florence:

Best Equestrian
Lost Dutchman Royalty

Best Western Authentic Vehicle
Camp Encouragement

Best Civic
Florence K-8 National Junior Honor Society

Best Commercial
Florence Copper’s "FloCo Riders"

Best Motorized
Box O Ranch’s "Beef Is Going Up"

Best Marching Band
Florence High School Marching Band

The Hometown Holiday Parade runs from 5 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1.

At 5:15 p.m., Florence Mayor Tara Walter will turn on the holiday lights on Main Street, with the parade kicking off at 7:30 p.m.
