EPCOR to continue COVID-19 bill credit program in 2021

Posted

EPCOR USA Inc. is extending its program to help Arizona customers with monthly bill credits into 2021 as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to hit the economy.

The COVID-19 bill credit program was established in 2020 for residential customers who were hospitalized or lost employment because of the pandemic.

These customers can receive a $10 discount on monthly water and/or wastewater bills, and those who receive both water and wastewater service from EPCOR and can receive discounts for both services for a total discount of $20 per month.

The program is available in all of EPCOR’s Arizona service districts, including the newly acquired San Tan water and wastewater districts.

“We recognize that recovering from the pandemic is a marathon, not a sprint. Our COVID relief program is easy to access and we’re here every day to walk through the process by phone. We encourage anyone who needs a little extra help to get in touch with us," said Sarah Skaggs, EPCOR's director of customer operations, in a press release.

EPCOR also has payment plans and a low-income discount for customers who may not qualify for the COVID-19 relief program but are having trouble paying their bills. It also has bill discounts for disabled veterans and deployed military members. Customers can learn more about these options by contacting EPCOR at 1-800-383-0834 or visiting EPCOR’s customer assistance page on epcor.com.
