Drivers should do what’s right and stop speeding

Posted

I read attorney Marc Lamber’s opinion on Arizona’s “Keep Right” law.

I drive the speed limit and still get people weaving in and out of traffic around me. Doing the speed limit in the fast lane and getting a $500 fine doesn’t seem right.

My other concern is motorcycles cutting in between cars. This is a public danger that needs to be abolished. The mirror on the right side of my car got taken off by a motorcycle that never stopped. Some drivers here have no respect for others, especially the older folks.

Many young people don’t realize it’s us old folks that keep them living.

I can see going to the slow lane, but when you’ve got a rock truck ahead of you that’s not covered and on the truck it says stay 200 feet away not responsible for windshield breaks, who is breaking the law? Where I come from, Michigan, all loads have to be covered and it is policed.

People here don’t care if you are doing the speed limit in the left lane; they speed around you.

Do what’s right and keep the speed down. Remember the old saying, “speed kills!”
