The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that the alternating east- and westbound lane restrictions between mileposts 240 and 243 on U.S. Highway 60 near Miami have been changed to 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, June 26, and midnight until 6 p.m. Friday, June 27.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place until further notice.
The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
Next week restrictions
US60 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating east- and westbound travel between mileposts 240 and 243 daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 2, and from 5 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 3.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place until further notice.
The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
No lane restrictions are planned on Friday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day.
Upcoming restrictions
US60 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating east- and westbound travel daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 7, through Thursday, July 10, and from 5 a.m. to noon Friday, July 11. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone. An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
Motorists should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
