Central Arizona College’s Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Theta Delta Chapter, has been named a 2021 Recognizing Excellence in Acceptance and Completion with Honors Chapter.
Chapters that excel in membership development by achieving or exceeding a 15% membership acceptance rate are rewarded with free Phi Theta Kappa graduation stoles for students.
Phi Theta Kappa offers multiple benefits to membership such as scholarships and opportunities to engage with peers and faculty, not only on their individual campus, but throughout Arizona and the Nation.
CAC currently has 570 PTK members and 1,680 PTK alumni, since 2011.
“Central Arizona College staff and advisors have worked diligently to reach students and enhance the college experience. This is certainly an achievement we are proud of in our chapter,” Dr. Sandy Rath, professor of communication studies and lead faculty, Phi Theta Kappa, said.
