Florence residents are being asked to help shape the future of Central Arizona Regional Transit services in the town.
CART provides regional bus service connecting Coolidge, Casa Grande, Florence and Central Arizona College. CART operates from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
As part of Coolidge’s Short-Range Transit Study, the city is exploring potential route extensions or expansions to better serve Florence residents, according to a town Facebook post.
One potential route would extend the Florence loop and add a new stop near the Florence Gardens Clubhouse at 3830 N. Florence Blvd.
The second potential route would expand CART services to include a new Anthem-Coolidge-Eloy route beginning at Sun City’s Union Center, 3830 N. Florence Blvd.
Residents are being asked to complete a survey regarding the proposed routes. The survey is available at https://app.publiccoordinate.com/#/projects/CoolidgeSRTP/map. The deadline for the survey is Friday, Feb. 7.
