A new community with 443 homes is being planned for San Tan Valley.
Homebuilder Mattamy Homes announced that it has closed a deal to purchase 118 acres along the Hunt Highway Corridor for $18 million to build the Rosewood Heights community.
"We are thrilled to expand our reach in the San Tan Valley with Rosewood Heights," Don Barrineau, president of Mattamy's Phoenix division, stated in a press release. "We have seen incredible success in this region already, and we look forward to continuing to provide homebuyers with Mattamy's high quality homes, thoughtful floorplans and outdoor amenities, now in a new community."
This new community will offer a variety of floor plans across three home collections. Rosewood Heights will have a mix of single-family home designs aimed at first-time buyers, move-up families and empty nesters, according to the release.
Rosewood Heights will feature a resort-style outdoor pool area, social gathering spots, pickleball courts, grass areas and play parks. There will also be walking paths and gathering areas scattered throughout the community.
Rosewood Heights will join Mattamy's actively selling communities Empire Pointe and Landmarke in Queen Creek, and Pinnacle at San Tan Heights and Bella Vista Farms in San Tan Valley, all expected to open in 2025.
Sales for Rosewood Heights are expected to begin in early 2026, with home closings anticipated for spring 2026.
