The Queen Creek Performing Arts Center has a slate full of shows coming up this winter and spring appealing to a wide range of tastes. Enjoy popular musicals, tributes to top musicians and even a little Shakespeare. All performances take place at QCPAC, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road.
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night For Singing
Jan. 9-11
A “Grand Night For Singing” is a celebration of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s iconic works. With selections from “The Sound of Music,” “Oklahoma,” “Carousel” and many more, this musical revue is sure to bring a happy wave of nostalgia.
Diamond: Songs of Neil Diamond
2-4 p.m.
Jan. 25
Neil Diamond has sold more than 130 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time. Enjoy this tribute to all his greatest hits such as “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” “Song Sung Blue,” “Forever in Blue Jeans,” “I’m A Believer” and “Kentucky Woman.”
BYU Noteworthy and Vocal Point
7-9 p.m.
Jan. 31
Noteworthy, one of BYU’s top a cappella ensembles, is comprised of seven female vocalists with a varied repertoire including pop, rock, jazz, hip-hop and spiritual genres. Vocal Point, BYU’s seven-man a capella group combines harmony, humor and vocal percussion to cover rock, pop, country, jazz, hymns and R&B.
Glen Campbell & Friends
2-4 p.m.
Feb. 8
From the Beach Boys to his hit “Rhinestone Cowboy,” celebrate Glen Campbell who released more than 70 albums including hits “Gentle on My Mind,” “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Southern Nights” and more. Campbell performed with greats Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Carole King and Judy Collins.
‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

Dancing Queen: Songs of ABBA

Sing along to this Swedish supergroup and one of the best-selling music acts in the history of popular music. ABBA topped the charts worldwide from 1974-1982, with such hits as “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” “Mamma Mia,” “Winner Takes It All” and, of course, “Dancing Queen.”
Elvis: Aloha From Vegas
2 p.m.

Elvis tribute artist Victor Trevino Jr. recently won first prize in Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis Competition, becoming the No 1 Elvis tribute performer in the world. Trevino has been featured on CNN, in Graceland’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, starred on the Ultimate Elvis World Tour, headlines a yearly Elvis Cruise, and has opened for Boys II Men and Foreigner.
