New business in Goodyear: Culver’s

Goodyear residents who love Culver’s burgers and frozen custard no longer have to leave town to satisfy their cravings.

The newest Valley location, 130 N. Estrella Parkway, opened this morning, July 27. Custard flavor of the day is caramel cashew.

In addition to its trademark ButterBurgers and custard, Culver’s offers chicken sandwiches and tenders, seafood sandwiches and dinners, soups, salads, a variety of sides, shakes, malts and floats and other treats. Children’s meals are available, as are meal options that weigh in around 500 calories.

Franchise owner Greg Landon, who lives in Goodyear, expressed his excitement over the opening his fifth and largest location at 6,300 square feet in a video shared by the city of Goodyear.

The Culver family opened its first restaurant in Sauk City, Wisconsin, in 1984. Its first franchise opened in 1990 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and there are now more than 700 locations in 25 states.
