The city of Litchfield Park will hold a virtual flag-raising ceremony at 8:15 a.m. Friday, June 12 in honor of the U.S. Army’s 245th birthday and Flag Day.

City flag-raisings are traditionally open to the public, but due to state guidelines on large gatherings to stem the spread of COVID-19, the public is invited to watch live on the city’s Facebook page, @CityofLitchfieldPark, as Mayor Thomas L. Schoaf present proclamations honoring both events.
