Laugh for Joy, a stand-up comedy night with proceeds benefiting Meals of Joy, takes place 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at Tuscany Falls Clubhouse at PebbleCreek. 16262 Clubhouse Drive, Goodyear.

Meals of Joy is a Litchfield Park-based meal program that delivers freshly made and ready-to-eat meals directly to seniors in need. Meals of Joy volunteers currently deliver 200 meals per week to seniors otherwise unable to cook for themselves.

The comedy night will feature three comics: Mark Cordes, Gene Moore and Mike James. Mr. James is a Buckeye resident and is recognized for improv, stand up and as a writer for television.

In addition to the live comedy show, guests can enjoy cocktails and a dessert buffet featuring a variety of local businesses. The dessert buffet is included in the ticket price.

Tickets are $25 each. A group rate for 25 or more tickets is $20 each. A $250 Friends of Joy package includes event and drink tickets for four in addition to the dessert buffet. Tickets available at mealsofjoy.org or by calling 623-594-9588.
