Lennar homes sales strong in Cadence at Gateway’s Phase 2, Harvard Investments says

Harvard Investments, an Arizona-based real estate investment and development company, reported that progress at Cadence at Gateway continues to exceed expectations in their newly opened Phase 2.

Phase 1 is essentially sold out and Phase 2, consisting of six neighborhoods and 486 lots, is experiencing success in home sales, according to a release.

Lennar is building homes in all six neighborhoods, each surrounding the community’s newly built elementary school. Cadence, a master-planned community on 444 acres is at Ellsworth and Ray, along the Gateway corridor in Mesa.

Lennar began presales the end of January in its first neighborhood in Phase 2 --- single- and two-story homes ranging from 1,800 to nearly 2,700 square feet and starting in the low $300,000s. Lennar’s homesite sizes range from 43 feet to 63 feet wide by 125 feet deep.

“Lennar has created distinctive homes for Cadence homebuyers with their 'Everything’s Included' features, home automation technology and multi-generational living floor plans,” Tim Brislin, vice president of Harvard Investments, said in the release. “These thoughtfully designed, beautiful homes have been incredibly well-received by individuals and families looking to call Cadence home.”

Lennar homebuyers at Cadence may choose from floorplans designed for every stage of life – from first-time buyers, growing families, those with teens, to empty nesters – including two new 'NextGen – the Home Within a Home' designs, one approaching 2,600 square feet with a three-car garage, the release states.

“We’re pleased to build upon our success in Phase 1 and bring new options to families with 21 floorplans, including Lennar’s innovative 'Next Gen - The Home Within A Home' design in Phase 2. Created for extended families, this layout provides a main home with an attached private suite that’s ideal for elderly parents, returning college children or long-term guests," Alan Jones, Lennar Phoenix division president, said in the release.

All six Lennar Phase 2 neighborhoods surround Silver Valley Elementary School and are just south of the community’s resort-style pools, basketball, tennis and bocce ball courts, all found at The Square, the amenity center with fitness facilities, game room and meeting spaces. Phase 2 includes five neighborhood parks, all connected to the integrated trail system. Lennar anticipates families will begin to move into their Phase 2 homes by 2021.
