The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers who use the eastbound U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Mesa to plan for nightly lane restrictions scheduled to begin Sunday, Jan. 19, for a pavement preservation project.
Work is scheduled to occur between Loop 101 Price Freeway and Crismon Road. The eastbound U.S. 60 will be narrowed to two lanes nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning late Sunday, Jan. 19, and continue through early Friday, Jan. 24.
Construction crews will complete the work in 3-mile increments to help minimize traffic delays. Plan ahead and allow additional travel time, the release states.
Drivers should use caution around construction personnel and equipment while pavement work is underway.
