Three Rotary clubs joined forces in a volunteer cleanup effort supported by the city of Tempe.

Adopt a Street project was led by the Camelback Crossroads Rotary Club with support from the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes and Arizona State University Rotary International Rotaract Club, according to a release.

Workers started at Jaycee Park in Tempe on 5th Street and collected 52 pounds of trash.

The cleanup occurs regularly with the next effort coming the day after Thanksgiving, organizers said.
