Next year’s tour will bring Melissa Etheridge to the East Valley.

The two-time Grammy winner and Academy Award winner will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 23 at Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave., as part of her national One Way Out tour.

Her new album “One Way Out” came out in 2021.

Etheridge and Van Halen are among the artists to be featured in a new MTV music docuseries that will give fans a different look at their favorite artists. MTV’s Family Legacy, debuting in 2023, will give new insight into a host of famous musicians using exclusive footage and new interviews from their children, giving a fresh perspective on the artists.

Tickets start at $72, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at chandlercenter.org or by calling 480-782-2680.
