Last day for Chandler book donations is Saturday, March 15

Saturday, March 15, is the final day to drop off new and gently used books for Fulton Homes' fourth annual "Load the Library" drive benefiting Chandler's public libraries.

Anyone can drop off books from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Chandler Public Library's main branch, 22 S. Delaware St., or use the collection bin inside Barnes & Noble at Chandler Fashion Center before the store closes at 9 p.m.

Last year, the community donated more than 750 books in the drive. This year, Fulton Homes aimed even higher.

Donations support CPL’s programs, including STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities, creator sessions in The Makery, and Chandler’s first mobile library, which will launch this spring.

We invite our readers to submit their civil comments on this topic. Email AZOpinions@iniusa.org.
