The city of Chandler has announced its service schedule for the Juneteenth holiday, Wednesday, June 19.

City administrative offices will be closed.

City of Chandler: Juneteenth closures, special hours

The city of Chandler has announced its service schedule for the Juneteenth holiday, Wednesday, June 19.

  • City administrative offices will be closed.
  • The Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center will be closed.
  • Tumbleweed Recreation Center will be open regular hours from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Chandler Tennis Center at Tumbleweed Park will be open regular hours from 6:30-10:30 a.m. and 5-10 p.m.
  • Chandler Public Libraries (Downtown, Basha, Hamilton and Sunset) will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The Chandler Museum will be closed.
  • The Vision Gallery will be closed.

These facilities and services will have no change:

  • Trash and recycling will be collected on Juneteenth.
  • The box office and gallery at the Center for the Arts will be open.
  • The Senior Center, Nature Center, Snedigar Recreation Center and downtown Community Center will be open regular hours.
  • All swimming pools are open for regular public swim hours.
