The Chandler Neighborhood Resources Department is accepting applications for four different types of neighborhood assistance programs.

The program is available to Chandler homeowner associations and traditional neighborhoods.

The assistance programs include:

• The Neighborhood Initiative Community Engagement Assistance Program is designed to assist in strengthening and sustaining the social network of the Chandler community through education and neighborhood enhancement. This program provides funding of up to $1,200.

• The HOA Matching Assistance Program is intended to be used for HOA neighborhoods to address deteriorated landscaping, entryway signs, fencing, walkways, fountains in a common area or neighborhood entryway and neighborhood perimeter walls. This assistance program provides funding of up to $12,000 to registered HOA neighborhoods within the city; neighborhood leaders may apply for this funding once every three years.

• The Neighborhood Enhancement Assistance Program provides funding of up to $12,000 to registered traditional neighborhoods. Similar to the HOA Matching Assistance Program, it’s also intended to be used to address deteriorated landscaping, entryway signs, fencing, walkways, fountains in a common area or neighborhood entryway, and neighborhood perimeter walls. Traditional neighborhoods registered with the city may apply for this funding once every three years.

• The Trap, Neuter and Return for Feral Cats Assistance Program is designed to assist in reducing the overpopulation of feral cat colonies in Chandler through education and neighborhood participation. This program provides funding up to $1,000 to registered neighborhoods. Neighborhoods may apply for this funding every 12 months.
