There probably aren't many municipal employees in the Valley whose peers make a full-size banner to commemorate a notable job anniversary.

Randal Eberhardt was one of the Chandler city employees honored for round-number service years at the Feb. 5 City Council study session.

Having been with the city since 1999, the Arizona State University alum and GIS specialist now supervises the Land Information Systems team.

He’s been an Arizona Diamondbacks season ticket holder since the franchise began play in 1998.
