Verrado High School student brings firearm to campus

Buckeye police received a report from Verrado High School officials saying they Buckeye police worked with school officials to locate that student at the school, and a gun was found inside the student’s vehicle.

Verrado High School student brings firearm to campus

Buckeye Police were called to Verrado High School on Thursday to investigate a suspected gun on campus.

Police received new information about 12:45 p.m. Thursday, regarding a Wednesday incident where a student was believed to have brought a gun on campus.

Buckeye Police announced today a seprate incident where a gun was sighted  on campus.

Buckeye Police worked with school officials to locate that student at the school, and a gun was found inside the student’s vehicle. The student was detained, and the investigation is ongoing.

Buckeye Police said there is no danger to the school or the community.
