Human skeletal remains found in Buckeye

Likely not those of missing geologist

An off-roading effort led to the discover of human skeletal remains in Buckeye late last week.

Buckeye Police were alerted of the find near Johnson Road and Southern Avenue, on Jan. 7, by Penny Buffington, who was off-roading in a remote area when she discovered a skull and other bones.
