Drivers will encounter few freeway closures and lane restrictions this weekend.

The Arizona Department of Transportation has announced the following work from Friday, Nov. 18, through Monday, Nov. 21:

• Westbound Loop 303 will be closed between I-17 and Lake Pleasant Parkway from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for construction.

 I-17 off-ramps at Loop 303 will be restricted with access limited to using Sonoran Desert Drive (east of I-17). I-17 on-ramps at Loop 303 will remain open. Detour: Alternate routes include westbound SR 74 to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway to enter Loop 303 beyond the closure.

• Watson Road will be closed in both directions beneath I-10 in Buckeye from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for bridge work (widening project).

I-10 on- and off-ramps at Watson Road will remain open, but traffic will not be able to travel under the freeway. Detour: Drivers can detour via the Verrado Way and Miller Road interchanges (access available by turning at the appropriate interchange and re-entering I-10 to reach Watson Road). 

Interstate 10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions overnight between Verrado Way and Miller Road in Buckeye from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for a widening project.
