Buckeye Days set to celebrate city's Western vibe

Buckeye Days celebrates its Wild West history with three days of fun from Jan. 27 - 29 in Downtown Buckeye.
This event features a Cattle Drive Parade, Dr. Buck’s Wild West Show, Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo, Western Marketplace, great food and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
Here’s the schedule of festivities each day:
Friday, Jan. 27
6:30 p.m. - BBQ dinner to benefit Friends of the Buckeye Library at Buckeye Elementary School Gym, 210 S. 6th St., 85326 with live music, entertainment and a 50/50 raffle
Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children 10 and under
Get tickets at the Coyote or Downtown Library
Saturday, Jan. 28
9:30 a.m. - Cattle Drive Parade along Monroe Avenue
BBQ lunch to benefit the Buckeye Museum following parade, 116 E. MC 85
$7 hamburger, chips and a drink
10 a.m. - Western Marketplace opens at 6th Street Plaza
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Dr. Buck’s Wild West Show
Participate with world champion performers in trick roping, six gun spinning and bullwhip cracking
2 p.m. - Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo, South Buckeye Equestrian Center, 10300 S. Miller Rd.
Gates open at noon
Admission - $15 Adults, $12 for seniors and veterans, Under 12 - Free
5 to 9 p.m. - Western Steak Cookout, South Buckeye Equestrian Center
Live music
Live & silent auction benefitting Buckeye Lions and Buckeye Rotary Clubs
