Even though city offices are closed, Buckeye’s Labor Day Celebration will take place at the city’s aquatics center.
From noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, bring lawn chairs, towels and suits for the last pool party of the summer. Admission is $2. Show your military ID and get four free entries.
In observance of the holiday, all Buckeye city offices, libraries and facilities will close Monday, Sept. 4.
Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Trash and recycling services are not affected by this closure. Residents with service scheduled for Monday should place their containers on the street before 5:30 a.m.
